Our general terms and conditions
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) form the basis of the contractual relationship between Autonomía and its customers. The contractual relationship begins with the oral or written placement of the order by the customer.

Autonomía is committed to the careful execution of the cleaning service. Customers with a standing order will be assigned a cleaner responsible for them. A change may occur for important reasons. In the event of illness or vacation, the job will be carried out by a substitute, provided that staff capacity permits. If no replacement can be found for the booked job, the fee for the affected absence will be waived.
The customer shall provide the appropriate cleaning agents and utensils in sufficient quantities, unless otherwise agreed.

All cleaners are employed by Autonomía and insured with the social insurance of the Canton of Zurich (AHV, IV, BU and NBU). Autonomía guarantees that all cleaners employed by
have a residence and work permit. -
Constructive feedback on the work performed by the cleaners is always welcome and can be communicated either directly to the cleaner or via Autonomía's customer service. In the event that the customer wishes to change the cleaner, this must be communicated in writing or verbally to Autonomía's customer service no later than 24 hours after the trial assignment.
Claims for damages made by the customer as a result of the execution of the order are covered by Autonomía's public liability insurance if the customer service is notified in writing immediately (within 24 hours) after the damage event. For damages that are not reported immediately in writing, any liability is void.

Autonomía undertakes to ensure that the cleaners comply with the provisions of the customer's house rules. During their work, Autonomía cleaners are strictly prohibited from using intoxicants. The cleaners protect the privacy of their customers. They undertake to maintain confidentiality about all information that becomes known in connection with their work.

During the work, there is a professional working relationship between the customers and the cleaners of Autonomía. The clients behave respectfully towards the workers and in particular avoid sexist or racist remarks or behavior.

The prices for the services do not include VAT of 8.1%. The price includes insurance for the workers and transportation to the place of work.
When booking the service, the customer specifies the desired duration. Autonomía's cleaners will do their best to complete the job within the booked time. If the booked time is not sufficient to guarantee a professional cleaning, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. The final price will be charged at the end based on the actual time worked. This also applies to any additional services requested, such as the cleaning of windows, doors or the washing and ironing of laundry.
The invoice is sent to the customer by e-mail at the beginning of the following month. Invoices must be paid within 10 days of the invoice date. Discrepancies must be reported as soon as possible and at the latest by the 8th day after receipt of the invoice.

Customers can cancel or postpone the booked service free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment.
If you cancel or postpone less than 48 hours in advance, a fee of 50% of the price will be charged.
For bookings canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment, a fee of 75% of the price will be charged and for bookings canceled less than 12 hours, 100% of the price will be charged (average of the last three bookings).
If it is okay for both parties, the cancellation fee can be waived.
Cancellations can be made by e-mail or by telephone (during the specified opening hours).

The standing order can be terminated by either party with a notice period of 30 days in writing by e-mail.

The customer grants the cleaner responsible for them access to the property. In return for a key receipt, they can provide the cleaner with the necessary keys, badge or access code to the property. If access to the property for a booked job is prevented for reasons for which the client is responsible, the booked job will be charged at 100%.

Autonomía reserves the right not to carry out the agreed work on properties that exceed the normal degree of soiling (extreme mold, vermin, piles of waste, etc.).

Customers undertake not to enter into a direct employment relationship with Autonomía cleaners during the assignment and for one year after the end of the assignment.

The contractual relationships between Autonomía and its customers are subject to Swiss law. Differences that may arise from a contract will be settled by mutual discussion whenever possible. If this is not possible, the place of jurisdiction is the headquarters of Autonomía. In the event of a dispute, the place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
